HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?

The house is available to visitors throughout the year and the changeover day is usually Sunday. This is more flexible during the low season when there is also the possibility of shorter breaks. The house will be ready for occupancy at 16:00 hr on the day of arrival and guests are asked to leave by 10:00 hr on the day of departure. If the house has been empty immediately before your stay, it would be possible to arrive earlier and we could discuss this nearer the time. Similarly if nobody is coming after you, you might wish to leave a little later.

The cost per week for the house is as follows:

HIGH SEASON       £495

MID SEASON         £395

LOW SEASON        £195 to £295

As a guide, high season is for weeks commencing in July and August, May half term, Easter, Christmas and New Year; mid season is May, June and September and other half-term weeks and the rest of the year is low season.

WHAT DOES THIS INCLUDE?

The cost is for the exclusive use of the whole house by up to 6 people. A cot and high chair can be provided for those with young children. Bed linen and towels can be provided at a small charge to cover local costs, or guests are welcome to bring their own. The price includes gas, electricity, hot water and heating. The house will be fully cleaned for you on your arrival and though you are obviously asked to leave the house clean and tidy, will be cleaned on your departure. The house has a British care-taker who lives very close and should you experience any real problems, you will be able to contact her. There will be full details of this and lots of other information about the house and area when you arrive.

WHAT SHOULD I DO NOW?

If you wish to know more or want to make a booking then you may email me but do leave me a phone number. To be absolutely sure of contacting me, as I may be away, phone my mobile where you can also leave a message: 07770 668979.  I shall reserve your required dates and these shall become firm bookings on receipt of a deposit of £100. When you send this please provide details of your party and the ages of of any children under eighteen, together with any requirements you might have. Full payment for the holiday should be sent six weeks before departure and the initial £100  will be retained as a deposit against damage etc., and returned to you after your visit. You shall be sent a key and local route instructions a couple of weeks before your holiday.
